Help a runner out, please!

MILES RUN: 3.1 – and it was easy; finally able to run again

COMPLAINTS: Happy as a clam.

Over the last three days I have attempted to write a post at least four times.  Each time, I have written something and then deleted it because each time I read it and nothing seemed worthy of reading.  And I still find myself staring at the screen wondering if I should even be typing.  I wonder if anyone actually reads these anyway.  Then I look at the analytics and realize people actually DO read it.  I’m not entirely sure who all of you are, but thank you.  I think I would write this even if no one read it because its still sort of an accountability tool for myself.

So, I’m curious, is there anything you would be interested in reading about?  Is there something specific?  Leave a comment and let me know – or simply send me an email or send me a text with an idea.

I should tell you though that I have not been very motivated.  In fact, I skipped my long run on Saturday morning.  I plan on making it up this week.  This past week, my runs have been almost unbearable.  I could barely run three miles this past week.  However, today, it was much easier to run.  Sure,it may have only been a three mile run today but I ran and I ran fast.  I think it has a lot to do with attitude.  It has a lot to do with how your day is going and this weekend was great!  Two awesome friends came into town and I got to hang out with a handsome guy friend who makes me smile.  I put on my headphones and was at the finish line before I even realized I had begun running.

So, this post was boring to write, I’m sorry, because I am sure it is boring to read.  So, help me out, what should I write about next?

Peace and hair grease,

I’m glad you are out of your running slump. I think having your friends in may have helped. You are re-energized. Can you tell how may people are reading your blog? Whatever you decide to write about is interesting to me. I am so proud of what you are doing. You are an inspiration to us all. Love, MOM (your biggest fan)
